50 Quick Activities to Improve Social-Emotional Learning is a classroom activity book for teachers, written by Arren Swift, Ph.D.
I developed both print and digital versions of this book. Since social-emotional learning (the development of "soft skills" like managing emotions, maintaining relationships, etc.) is a process that includes and benefits all people, I created a colorful theme with diverse representation.
Since this book features a lot of hands-on and group classroom activities, I paired a handwritten typeface (Limonea) for the headline, with a clean, easy-to-read typeface (Avenir) that supported the instruction-heavy content.
I also created reproducible templates to pair with the instruction, where applicable. The digital version of the book includes editable fields that allow teachers to easily extract content and upload it to Google Classroom or their LMS for student use.
