Project-Based Learning Books

Project-Based Learning in WHAP and Project-Based Learning in Microecon are two sets of print and digital activity books for teachers. They include step-by-step activities, C3 and Common Core standards, and reproducible student activity sheets to use in the classroom.

Since these were instructional books, the goal of the formatting was to create something easy to follow while adding helpful, interesting visual cues. To support the text-heavy content, I chose a legible sans-serif font (Gotham Narrow, a standard font for the company) and a handwritten font to highlight "Pro Tips" for the teacher.

I also created icons to link back to teacher tips at the beginning of the book and added hand-drawn elements for visual interest.

Each title was also created as an interactive download. For the reproducible student pages, I created editable fields using InDesign and Acrobat, allowing teachers to extract ready-to-use activities and upload them to Google Classroom or their LMS.
